FAMILY TRENDS

Family life is changing. Two parent households are declining these days.

Divorce and re-marriage are increasing in many parts of the world , which has caused a rise in single parent house hold and a drop in fertility and child birth. The traditional family setup has been declining , and children are not getting nourished by the love of both parents.

Many studies prove that children who are not getting both of the parents love are choosing bad ways like drugs, sexual sins and criminal crimes.

Children growing up in a wholesome family , grow up as good citizens and carry out the same.

More children are being born to unmarried parents, these relationships tends to be less stable than those of married couples.  Most of these couples orphan their children or sometime rear their children as single parents. This directly affects the child because sometimes the single parent is not able to provide financial and social comfort to the child.

Divorce rates are increasing, Many couples do not stay together and make quick decisions of divorce. Many Parents have children with multiple partners , having children with more than one partner has resulted in unmarried child bearing and unstable relationships. These kind of parents are also responsible for many orphans who are left all alone. 

As many parents get divorced or split their relationship  and for new association with new partners , their children experience unstable relationships , they have to move from family to family , they either have to live with a single parent or a step parent. There lives are actually messed up and in distress.  

Many Children who are older than sixteen , tend to live their families and go in search of new relationships, which do not last for a long time. This also leads to teenage pregnancy , abortions, malnutrition of the new born babies and many other problems. 

We must make our best efforts to bring meaningful and happy family relationships and build meaningful relationships with our spouses and children. As the family trends are changing rapidly and many new forms of trends are emerging it is important that we follow the lords counsel on chastity and marriage. Marriage is beautiful , and children are also beautiful when born after marriage. So we must strive to make happy families as the lord wants us to be.
